Fractures eBook Cover

Foot and ankle fractures can come in many forms – from tiny, hairline cracks (stress fractures) that eventually grow into fractures, to full-blown breaks that pierce through the skin (open fractures).

Now, if you see a bone sticking out of your foot, you will likely seek medical attention right away. But this is not always the case for more moderate fractures. You may experience foot or ankle pain after a day of playing your favorite sport, but the discomfort will usually go away with rest – and that means you can’t possibly have a fractured foot or ankle, right?

Not so fast!

Though we often associate broken bones with sudden, physical trauma, fractures can also happen gradually over time due to overuse. And that pain you dismissed as “not a big deal” may actually be a sign that you are developing stress fractures.

That’s why it’s important that you become familiar with all the signs and symptoms (aside from a bone sticking out of your foot) that might indicate something is wrong … and you have come to the right place!

Our FREE eBook, Foot and Ankle Fractures: Know What to Do When “Sticks and Stones Do Break Your Bones,” lays out everything you need to know about foot and ankle fractures – the risk factors, symptoms you should look out for, and what to do when you suspect your feet are “breaking down on you.” All you have to do is fill out the form on this page to gain access to your very own copy.
